Claire Miller, Wildernook Fresh Air Learning

Claire Miller- Director

Claire can’t shake her experiential education affliction. She is wired to design and implement transformative nature experiences. Favourite roles on her learning journey include facilitating the Certificate in Ecological Education program at the U of S, teaching in the Saskatoon Public Schools’ Ecoquest and Outdoor School programs and developing the Swale Education Program at Sylvia Fedoruk School. Claire brings 15 years of experience as an experiential educator. Her formal education includes a B.A. in English, B.Ed in Outdoor Experiential Education, Masters in Environmental Studies and certificates in Ecological Education and Sustainability Education.

Zoe Arnold, Wildernook Lead Educator

Zoe Arnold - Lead Educator

Zoe loves to be outside more than anywhere else. Her passion and expertise lies in facilitating nature-based, child-centred programs. Zoe trained and worked as a Forest School Leader in London, UK. She holds a UK Level 3 Certificate in Forest School Leadership as well as a B. Ed. in Outdoor and Experiential Education from Queen’s University.

 

Jennifer Beaumont-Becker - Assistant Educator

Jenn brings years of nature and holistic teaching experience to Wildernook. She teaches grade 3 for Prairie Spirit School Division and is an avid trail explorer and lifelong learner. Jenn has assisted us with many camps over the years and will be back to help lead Forest School After School on Thursdays. More to come about Jenn!
