Join our friendly, vibrant community of mamas and babies for weekly wellness walks.
Ongoing pandemic times can be wearing- we hear you! A facilitated nature walk with mamas at a similar stage is one way to refill your cup and replenish your energy for the week ahead.
Walks will be at baby-carrying pace and introduce mamas to outdoor loving (or just tolerant!) friends and a variety of nature walking trails in the Saskatoon area.
Babies are welcome to sight-see or nap from the comfort of their carrier, but will not participate in dedicated activity stops on the ground as they did in our Nature Baby program.
What you’ll need:
Baby carrier or backpack.
Winter boots with good ankle support and grippy soles (adult).
Hiking sticks/urban walking poles/ski poles welcome as they are a good way to distribute weight and add an upper body workout.
Warm insulation layers (both).
Options to cover our adult faces for warmth and to keep our aerosols to ourselves.
Transportation to the different trailheads in the city.
So pull some warm layers over baby’s PJ’s and your leisure wear (maybe also PJ’s?) and join us! Laugh, move your body, and relieve tension in a supportive and scenic space. This program will be lead by Claire (a fellow squirrelly mama who is a happier person when walked).
Location: Saskatoon’s Urban Parks and Naturalized spaces.
Dates: Monday, Nov. 23rd - Monday, Dec. 14th, 2020.
Timing: 12:30p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $55.00/pair for 4 sessions.
Accessibility Pricing: $20.00 for 4 sessions available to Indigenous, newcomer and low income families (email claire@wildernook.com to confirm)
Cancellation Policy: A refund, minus a 10% administration fee, can be issued up until 2 days prior to this event.
This is a covid- response program designed for the times. We may or may not continue to offer it in 2021.
