Nature Tots

Wildernook Fresh Air Learning

NEW! FLEX PASS OPTION AVAILABLE

Contact jana@wildernook.com about late registration.

Waving fingers through reeds, gathering cones and tucking into secret spots— Nature Tots provides a joyful opportunity for caregivers to explore and nurture their sense of wonder together.

The Nature Tots program engages both adult and child (ages: walking - 36 months) in a variety of seasonal sensory experiences in Saskatoon’s Gabriel Dumont Park. Caregivers (grandparents, aunts, uncles and other caregivers welcome!), will develop their nature mentorship skills through the process.

Nature Tots includes playing with natural materials, walking to visit different nooks within the park, playing simple nature games and singing nature songs.

Location: Saskatoon’s Gabriel Dumont Park.

Dates: Thursday, September 5th - Thursday, October 24th, 2019. (8 Sessions)

Timing: 11:10 a.m. is the approximate tot-friendly arrival time, and at 11:20a.m. we will depart from ‘trail-head’. The buffer is designed to offer a more relaxed and tot-centric experience. We will be back to the parking lot between 12:20 and 12:30.

Cost:

$104.00/pair for 8 sessions (this works out to $13.00/pair for each session)

$78.00/pair for the 6 session flex pass - you take two weeks off according to what works best for your family.

Cancellation Policy: A refund, minus a 10% administration fee, can be issued up until 2 weeks prior to the event. After that time no refund will be issued.

Join us for 8 or 6 weeks of Nature Tot this fall!

An information package will be sent out to registered participants before program start-up.

We look forward to sharing autumn with you and your tot!

I sincerely believe that for the child, and for the parent seeking to guide him, it is not half so important to know as to feel when introducing a young child to the natural world. If facts are the seeds that later produce knowledge and wisdom, then the emotions and the impressions of the senses are the fertile soil in which the seeds must grow. The years of early childhood are the time to prepare the soil.
